Project

For this project, we were told to create whatever project we like based on the 17 sustainable development goals. In this project, we can do anything we want, and best to explore the area that is out of our own fields.
After doing some research, I decided to go with the “2. Zero Hungry".
The reason I chose this one is that when I was a child, my grandfather used to tell me when I couldn't finish my meal that all the food in my bowl was other people's blood and sweat. My grandfather always showed me that after he finished eating, there isn't any rice left in the bowl. This kind of education comes into my life every day. I have always kept do not food waste in mind, and this is my opportunity to choose this theme.

As a result of my research, I gained a deeper understanding of the problem, how much food is wasted, and how resources are distributed unequally such problems. I felt I want to do some of this as a designer.

My game plan is to try to frame the defining moment of human civilization, and I think the reason I've tried to involve food in this important moment is that I want more people to remember the importance of food. A reminder forever not to waste food. Without Food, life would not exist, and the brilliant civilizations that humans created would disappear. So everything is Base on FOOD.

I was plan to come out with 25 illustrations at the very beginning stage. But I just underrate the time I need to use on this project, I have no time to do so much of this project.

So finally I will come out with 8 illustrations and do 8 posters for these illustrations to introduce the story behind the illustrations. And also come out one big poster include all illustrations. Also, I will use these illustrations to do a series of contents, like bags, stickers, promotional cards, etc.

Reflection

This project is quite interesting and I am free to implement my ideas in this project. There's just no time to create more content. But through this project, I feel I have the ability to create interesting content, and I'm happy to feel that I've grown. This is the first project that has been successfully implemented with my own design philosophy, and I hope it will be a long-term project that I will continue to develop in this direction myself.
