Week 4：Harmony,Unity and Proportion

This week we learn these two elements,both of these two elements is not easy to understand to me.Harmony involves the selection of elements that share a common trait. It beomes monotony without variety.Unity occurs when these elements are composed in such a way that they are balanced and give a sense of oneness, creating a theme.Use it tomake the whole project in balance. Proportion is the relationship of two or more elements in a design and how they compare with one another. The effective use of proportion in design often results in harmony and unity.

lecture's feedback:Ms Jinchi suggested me do neater on the sketch of harmony3,.And I will keep working on the sketch of unity.

In this work,I use my firend photo and her faviourite character to create this work.In the right side, I used bright colour, ande left side, I used the  cold colour,try to make the whole work can express the element "Harmony".

I think the stamp is a good module to express Unity,the architecture is my favourite element, and different architecture style is also fit the work we need to do this week.
I just used 3 differents colour in the set of stamps,It can be looks more like a UNITY.By the way,I use Chinese as the main tittle just because I think it more impactive than English.

Week 5 Symbol，Imagery and Typography
This week we first learn about symbol,include figurative representations and non- figurative representations,especialy learn about arbitrary symbol. This type of symbols means have no resemblance at all to the objects or the ideas they represent. Many are based on geometric shapes and colours. Then, we learn about Imagery, Imagery is a vital part of design.User and viewers are able to relate to a concept or a brand. Final, we learn about typography. It main talk about the design and arrangement of text to convey a message ore concept.

Feedback：Ms Jinchi suggested me do more explore on the arbitrary symbol，can express the same mean，and try some more elements that contrast each other.

And the first imagery and typography work it is a little bit comfused, so suggested me to use the second work as final work.
