a)Research & Analysis
For project 2a, we were required to collect logos, analyze and understand each of the logo. The task is to collect 2 logos each day and have a total of 28 logos at the end of the project.

b)
Concurrently, while doing the above and upon selection or identification of your brand/occupation, produce 2 sheets of idea- sketches weekly (the more the merrier) for the development of your logo. Initially, use mind-maps to identify important keywords or key visuals. Develop these into idea sketches and then later into concepts. Narrow down the most promising ideas and concepts. The developed logo in its final most appropriate form will need to be digitised, in black and white (only after approval of the BW version can you embark on selection of colour in Project 3).

Start from mind map, explore more, try to play with letters as I can.
Actually if I can got more time in this part, I want to try more and more on it, try abstruct logo, and more obtion I can make it.

After Ms.Low's feedback I decide to go with this one.

I pretty like this one, and make a long story about this logo, but actually it looks more like a pattern or a tattoo, and do not so fit with Darrma.

So I try again after Ms.Low's feedback, I try to explore more possiblity.

I got lots of good hit from this draft, then Ms.Low recommend me to go this this one.

I adjusted it and created a few letters to fit it.

I did lots of try on the typeface, finally I pick the bold one.

Here is the final outcome.

Magazine"BRAND:I want to set up a studio "(Special Edition)

The printing and special process of BRAND magazine is meticulous and detailed in every issue. And this issue is about designing and running a studio, which is something I’m very interested in, and something I’m going to do in the future. The magazine interviewed 17 designers of Chinese descent, who answered questions about how they got started, what push was, what they had set up their studios and so on, and the magazine used very good typography to showcase the designers’work. Brand magazine showcases the beauty of high quality print.
